In short, that's why I write.

 

I have wanted to be a writer since age six. Even prior to that, I began my relationship with Jesus. I'd imagine Him sitting next to me as I drew pictures, before I was old enough to form letters.

 

Throughout my life, as I've grown in faith, I've also looked for ways to write. I tried novels, journalism, all sorts of things, and then, after years that involved twists and turns, ups and downs, what I like to think of as God-inspired came to me: share what you've learned about God to bless others.

 

My work is both Biblically-based and very personal. The Word of God is the foundation; the personal info is vulnerability.

 

Whenever people have let themselves be vulnerable with me, they've not only shared a part of themselves but helped me in return, often with solace, comfort and empathy.

 

And so that is what I hope these books do for you—guide you using God's Word, comfort you knowing that you are not alone, encourage you, strengthen you, bring you hope and happiness, in short, bless you.

 

My children's chapter book is not Biblically-based, but it does have godly principles, and if you choose to read it, may it bring you joy. It was written specifically to help fill the gap between children's picture books and long novels.
